Shipments of CE devices with web browsers to top 214mn in 2013
November 13, 2008 - The number of web browsers embedded in consumer electronics devices such as digital TVs, game consoles and set-top boxes will grow from 60mn in 2008 to 214mn in 2013, according to ABI Research, which attributes the growth to a rise in IP-enabled consumer electronics products which is fueling increased demand for browsers and web-based user interfaces in these devices.
