Orange offers free laptop to new broadband customers at PC World

July 20, 2007 – Orange is offering a free laptop worth over £300 to its new broadband customers who sign up for two years at retailer PC World.

The Celeron laptop has a 15.4-inch widescreen display, Wi-Fi, 256Mb memory, a 40Gb hard drive and a DVD re-writer; PC World has reportedly made tens of thousands available.

Niall O’Keeffe, Marketing Director for PC World, stated “Internet access and access to home IT is increasingly important for British families.  There are educational benefits for children and numerous practical and social advantages for adults.  We are pleased to be offering this groundbreaking deal as part of our commitment to Britain’s digital future.”

There is also the option to trade up to a higher specification laptop or receive a £350 discount on any laptop in store.
