Fuze introduces whole-home media system

August 17, 2007 – Fuze Media Systems has launched a new ‘whole-home’ media centre, designed as a central hub to deliver audio and video to any room in the home.

The system includes a personal video recorder and a Fuzebox home-theatre PC with multiple CableCard tuners.  A FuzeTunes interface is needed in any room wired for audio, while an optional FuzeTouch screen or remote control is required to control the whole system.  Fuze has stated that the package includes “all the necessary components for media storage and distribution: a primary media server, video clients, audio clients, and multiple interface options.”

No details have been released yet about pricing, but more information is expected to be released when the company showcases the system at the CEDIA event to be held in Denver, US from 5-9 September.
