Celrun to target European market with launch of new TD9000 set-top box

August 29, 2007 – Celrun, a Korean provider of IPTV/VoD end-to-end solutions, has revealed plans to crack the European market with the launch of its new hybrid set-top box, called the TD9000.

The unit has an integrated ATSC/DVB-T tuner, and plays nearly all kinds of file formats, offering connectivity to a PC or direct to the Internet.  “TD9000 will be launched in Korea this September first, and we plan to launch in Europe early next year; the upcoming IBC event should be a great moment for the company’s move forward into the European market,” stated Byoung Joo Lee, Vice President of Celrun.

Celrun will be showcasing the TD9000 at stand IP323 at the upcoming IBC event, to be held in Amsterdam on September 7-11.
