Vigoole to integrate SiConnect powerline connectivity into audio products

December 6, 2007 – SiConnect, a UK developer of home networking technology, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Vigoole, a Hong Kong-headquartered firm that develops a range of audio products including loudspeakers, to integrate its powerline-based connectivity into the latter’s products.

Vigoole will use SiConnect’s single-chip PLi050A audio powerline modem featuring its POEM technology, allowing high fidelity streaming of uncompressed audio and simultaneous operation of multiple applications on the same network.
