Conceptronic launches Grab’n’GO Multimedia Recorder & Player

December 11, 2007 – Dutch firm Conceptronic has unveiled its new Grab’n’GO Multimedia Recorder & Player, featuring a capacious hard drive and built-in analogue TV tuner.

The unit includes digital video recorder (DVR) features such as time-shifting and scheduled recording functions.  The unit will initially be offered with a 500Gb hard drive, with other capacities to follow soon.  The unit also allows users to record directly from their DVD player, set-top box or camcorder.  Users can also record directly to a memory card or USB storage device into MPEG-4 format, enabling content portability.

The Grab’n’GO Multimedia Player & Recorder also works as a media player, connecting to a computer and allowing users to play digital movies, photos and music by copying across media to the unit’s hard drive.  The device supports many popular file formats, including XviD, AVI, MPEG 1/2/4, JPEG, MP3, WAV and YOB.

The unit is available now and prices start at €269.
