Top Up TV introduces new 250GB digital TV recorder

January 24, 2008 – Top Up TV, a UK pay TV service that offers extra channels to Freeview  DTT users, has announced a new larger capacity Top Up TV+ digital TV recorder (DTR).

The new DTR comes with a 250GB hard drive, offering 180 hours of standard-definition recording, as well as featuring a dual-tuner Freeview receiver and giving access to the PictureBox service, which offers a choice of seven blockbuster movies a day for £5 a month.

The unit is being offered with a month’s trial of Top Up TV Anytime for £129.99, while for £149.99 consumers also get one month of Setanta Sports.  The original 160GB DTR is now priced at £99.99.
