Livestation Mac beta currently top download on apple.com

apple_downloads_front_page_02092008.png September 2, 2008 - Internet TV service Livestation has revealed that following the launch of the Livestation Mac player (beta) last week , it is now the top download on apple.com, juumping ahead of Firefox, Messenger and Google Earth amongst others.

The new Mac player offers new features such as a Cover Flow-style visual carousel for navigation of channels; a search and add feature, allowing users to access over 600 web channels directly from the player; and a chat function, allowing viewers to interact with one another while watching Livestation - all of which will be added to the Windows version shortly.

Livestation reports that it is now receiving 30 download a minute for the Mac beta.
